Visit the heart of the Dutch democracy and one of the best collection of Dutch paintings from the Golden Age.
We gather in a cafe that can best be described as an Amsterdam living room. The place where you feel at home no matter what time of the day. The place to enjoy our early morning coffee, home made cakes and meet our new friends for the day.
We board our private minibus to drive to The Hague through the Dutch countryside with its splendid vista’s. When it’s the right season we will share the beauty of the flowering bulb fields with you.
Everyone who visits The Hague for the first time is overwhelmed by the abundance of monuments. Although not the capital of the Netherlands, The Hague is home to the Royal Family and national parliament and many international institutions. An experienced guide will take you on a tour into the heart of the Dutch democracy. You visit the Hall of Knights and both Parliament Buildings House of Representatives and the Dutch Senate.
Lunch will be served in a cosy spot, when the weather allows lunch will be severed outside in the garden.
After lunch we will step back in time and visit the 17th century monument The Mauritshuis. This museum is home to the best Dutch paintings from the Golden Age. Our storytelling guide will inform you about masterpieces such as Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp by Rembrandt and The Goldfinch by Fabritius. This tour offers plenty of photo opportunities, so bring your camera.
Indulge yourself and join us for an unforgettable tour.
